Culture Discovery Vacations was recommended to me by a good friend who had done two trips with them. He hadn't done their Amalfi trip but that was the one we were interested in. Everything my friend told me about CDV was true. They are probably the most detail-oriented travel firm I have ever seen, but they are also very much like family in the way they treat you. Everything was coverered from the time they picked us up to the time they dropped us off at the airport. Our excursions took us to must-see places like Pompeii and Positano as well as out of the way dining spots and tours (say cheese everyone, as we got to make our own!). The cooking sessions were lots of fun and we left with lots of receipes and fond memories. I want to try their Sicily excursion next!
